The Air Jordan 9 Kobe Bryant PE possesses all the features that make the Kobe Bryant Player Exclusive stand out. It uses the same LA Lakers team colors. Fans of the Lakers will see the signature Tour Yellow, Concord and White combined in this colorway. The main base color is white with overlaid color blue on the lower upper and upper midsole. This color wraps around the footwear towards the collar. The use of wrapping this color towards the color gives this footwear a durable look meant for hard core ballers.
Even though this model is made to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant, the brand retained its own branding to stay true to the company’s legacy. This includes using the number “23” instead of “8”.
The overall look also leaves an impression of having high energy for its styling. The detailing has perforated panels placed strategically throughout the uppers. Perforations give the wearer good ventilation while wearing the footwear while giving it a unique look. The round white shoelaces are placed on metal eyelets, giving the footwear a better style than the usual Jordans.
The inner lining reaching towards the collar area also has the same blue color. This color extends to the upper trim of the tongue, which is accented with “Air Jordan” in text. This text is embroidered using Tour Yellow color to introduce style consistency throughout the model.
The ankle area is designed using the same blue pulltab and Jumpman logo in yellow color. The number 23 is also embroidered in Tour Yellow to highlight the brand’s styling for the Laker’s team.
The brand also designed the Air Jordan 9 Kobe Bryant PE with a prominent outsole and midsole. A part of the midsole is colored in blue while the remaining part is in white color. The heel part of the outsole has the Jumpman logo on the side in color yellow, which is fitting for this model. Underneath the outsole are etched panels of rubber and another large Jumpman logo to complete the overall design.
