For us who have been fans of Michael Jordan in early ’90s, you probably remember the most memorable Gatorade’s commercial marketing slogan “Be like Mike”. Well, this is one of those commercials that took most of us to the courts just to be like mike’. The information about a possible release of a brand new line of Air Jordan based on this commercial excited most of us, old fans. For us and most Jordanheads, that was a piece of news that meant more than just a new sneaker but a nostalgic pair of sneaker. Now we can comfortably say that the wait or guesswork is over. To give fans a feel of what it was like back in the days; the sneaker is dressed in colors of this popular sports drinks- Gatorade. From the leaked information and images about AJ 6 Gatorade, the footwear will be available in two colourways. One pair will be dressed in Carmine-like colourway mixing White/Orange-Green while the other pair in Green Suede. What will make these variations stand out, is the quality of their material and color distribution.

The Carmine-like colorway of the AJ6 Gatorade has been appearing in most and seems like it will be dominating the rest of the colors. The version come summit white, orange, black and green color scheme. The upper leather is dressed in summit white while the orange hue is placed on the tongue flap, heel, toe and side panels. The black details can be seen on the heel tab, inner liner, peaks on the midsoles, toe box, and the tongue whole the green hue is creatively put on the Jumpman logo on the tongue.

One the other hand, the second version, (Green Suede) is simple in design but very classy and attractive. The silhouette is dressed in Green, Orange and Summit White color schemes. The upper nubuck is dominated by the green color hue while orange detail is seen on the Jumpman, heel tab. To finish off the look is the white translucent sections of the outsoles. There are also several highlights that make AJ6 Gatorade stand. The jumpman logo, If I could be’ slogan in the inner tongue, heel-tub tab and its laced-up style are some of the key highlights from this sneaker.

Air Jordan 6 Gatorade is indeed a classic sneaker that you should add to your fall collection. The silhouette will be launched on December 16, 2017. It will be retailing for a price tag of $190.
