This September, 23 is back once more. This time, it will be an exclusive size for female fans of Jordan Brand – the Air Jordan 5 GS Raptors.
Basically, the Black, Vibrant Purple, and Red color scheme of the AJ5 GS Raptors looks familiar. Why not, the silhouette is taken after the original “Raptors” release under the Air Jordan 7 line during the 90s. But instead of the typical Bred color as a nod to the Chicago Bulls team, the Raptor Jordan was made to pay homage to the Canadian team, Toronto Raptors. It’s the pair we haven’t seen since it’s Jordan release last 2012 but it seems that Jordan Brand is now bringing back the remastered pair. This time though, the sizes will be available in GS. A fact that may have some men fans groaning in despair and jealousy. Sorry boys, but the new Air Jordan 5 Raptors are only available in GS sizes. But we can always hope, right?

Thanks to its Black tongue and upper made in nubuck, the Raptors GS Air Jordan 5 looks a bit like the Air Jordan 7 Raptors/True Red when you look at it. But as a more popular series, Jordan Brand made this new release more vibrant with a purple and red accents.
If you are a serious sneakerhead and Jordan Brand fan, you can just drool when you see the matching Black nubuck upper and tongue. The vibrant purple color breaks up the black color scheme by filling in the midsole and the lining. JB also added bright Crimson Red accents on the midsole. The speckled shark teeth on the midsole inspired by the Mustang fighter jet and Jumpman brandings are also dressed in the same bright red color. You’d find three Jumpmans all throughout the shoes. One on the insole, one on the tongue, and one on the heels.
The side panel comes with a mesh ventilation system that is semi-translucent which adds to the stylish look of the Air Jordan 5 GS Raptors. More than that, the meshed upper ensures that you get the most comfort wearing the Raptors especially when it’s hot. Finishing off the look is a translucent blue outsole.
Given that the remastered GS Raptors from Air Jordan 5 is not an OG, it’s likely to become one of the most intriguing sneaker releases by next month. So what are you waiting for? Mark your calendar for this Jordan releases and wait out for more information on future releases.
