The first time AJ III3 dropped into the market was back in 1988. As of 2018, the legendary sneaker will be celebrating precisely 30 years. For the 30th anniversary, the company is planning to launch an iteration of the original AJ 3 silhouette. The new model will be Air Jordan III Tinker NRG. For the many reasons, the name of the new model pays tribute to a host of factors that made gave the original sneaker a legendary tag.
Tinker Hatfield designed the original Air Jordan 3, and thus the featured name of the new iteration pays tribute to this great designer. But just like the original version, AJ 3 Tinker NRG will incorporate most of the original sneaker’s features. From the images leaked by the company, the new sneaker will feature the same colorway as the original release and designs.
From the images, confirmed by the 23isback, the new sneaker will be dressed in a White/Fire Red/Cement Grey-Black colorway. Just like the original release, the distribution of the colors is done so creatively that it brings a fantastic appearance of the sneaker. The white sneaker is seen in places on the most of the upper spreading from the toe box all the way up to the tongue, shoelaces, and parts of the midsole. The black hue is on the midsole, around the heel, and on the Nike swoosh. The detail of red hue can be seen on the back, eyelets and the Jumpman branding on the tongue. To finish off is the grey outsole.
The quality of the new iteration is no less to that of the original release. The new sneaker is constructed from high-quality leather and tuber material for the soles. Other important features to note that will make the new release stand out is the Swoosh logos, Nike label on the heels, Tinker signature and sketched graphics insoles. The silhouette is also laced type, and thus you can adjust the tightness as you wish.
