The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Top 3 is designed to resemble theme known as “What The” by combining three of the original colorways used for Air Jordans in one model. Combining these colorways came from “Banned”, “Chicago” and “Royal”.
What makes this model unique is the use of contrasting colors per piece. For instance, the font panel for the left footwear uses original Blue color while the panel for the other piece uses original red. This is a good play on color meant for people who love wearing colourful footwear. For the left footwear, the front panel and outsole uses blue color. The back part of this piece uses red, which gives this footwear a good contrast. The blue color is also use for the tongue’s tag to embroider the Nike Air logo on black fabric.
For the right piece, the front panel and outsole uses original red. The tongue color is white, which is the opposite color for the black tongue for the left piece, and accented with a red tag with Nike Air logo in white color. The back part of this right piece uses blue.
Other accents that use contrasting accents are the Swoosh set in red and black. The main upper panel for the center part of the footwear uses black for the inside part while white color is used for the exterior side.
Although the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Top 3 has contrasting elements, the brand decided to use the same elements to tie design together. One is the use of black flat shoelaces. The Air Jordan logo on the cage of the collar are also placed in black color to highlight the company’s brand. All uppers also rest over white midsole, which is the perfect color to complement the model’s design.
Inside the footwear is the white inner lining branded using Nike Air logo in red and blue to set the brand properly.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Top 3 is one of the most anticipated unique Jordan releases to date. It’s set to hit stores on November 28, 2016, allowing buyers to get their own pairs for their collections. Even if this model is unique, the brand attached a cheaper price tag on this model, costing only $160 for the lovely pair. It is undeniable that 23 is back!
