This will be a piece of good news to all AJ1 fans. For those who can remember the iconic ‘Shattered Backboard’ release, then you will be getting similar to that quality. According to the information released by Jordan release dates 2018 and confirmed by 23isback, the new sneaker will be hitting retails shelves late February. Just the previous Version of AJ1, the new release does not disappoint in both color and quality. From the images leaked by JB, the new sneaker mimics the ‘Black Toe’ released a while back.
From the leaked images, “Red Toe” comes in Gym Red, Black-Summit and White color scheme. Just like the previous AJ1 iterations, the color combination brings out a stunning classic. In fact, a closer look to the new retro will tell you that it’s a classic silhouette that combines Chicago, Black Toe, and Banned iterations into one. The Gym Red hue is on the toe box, wrapping around the ankle and heel and the outsole while the summit white is on the midsole and side panel. The black hue covers the rest of the sneaker.
When it comes to quality, AJ1 Retro High OG “Bred Toe” will stand out from the rest. The sneakers upper is constructed from high-quality soft leather. Similarly, the sole is from top-notch light rubber that provides incredible traction while walking.
Some of the major highlights that will make the sneaker stand out include Nike Swoosh on the side panel, wings logo and the Nike Air branding on the tongue and the inner-sole. In addition, the perforations on the toe box increase breathability thus keeping the inside of the silhouette cool.
